CSM ran a scoped engineering study that turned an open requirement into a firm, fixed-price implementation proposal: a standalone, PC-based industrial-vision verification station proven against the real line, with no dependency on the plant's ERP or barcode systems. The study is delivered and implementation-ready.
A U.S. pharmaceutical contract manufacturer faced a manual palletizing bottleneck, packing errors, and a looming DSCSA serialization deadline. Rather than a single-vendor package, CSM engineered a distributed cell: a collaborative robot handling and palletizing bottles, with integrated vision for defect inspection and DSCSA serialization and aggregation through pack-out. The line has been running in production since early 2025.
A global automotive and powertrain manufacturer needed to automate a manual primary casting line constrained by limited floor space, aging equipment, and molten-metal heat and particulate. CSM engineered and installed a complete robotic cell, sizing the robot and tooling around fixed obstructions, closing requirement gaps during the build, and delivering UL 508A controls and safety rated for casting-line service. The cell has run in production since Q2 2026 and earned a follow-on second casting line.
